I wonder how many people (let alone leaders) this is increasingly true for in a world that offers cancel instead of grace & vengeance instead of justice (& yes, that line is in tomorrow’s sermon!)

I agree with your second bit - it all feels a bit try-hard but I’m equally sure that the nave has seen worse!
