Well Christmas Day ended up being a fantastic metaphor for 2024 in general. 8 people coming round for dinner and the cooker dies a few hours in. Trying to fix it set off the burglar alarm, which we’ve not used in the 7yrs we lived here and don’t have the code for. At least there is plenty to drink 😂
