Nature, dogs, horses and craic - in that order. Climate and nature / the hand that feeds us.
Movies over 2 hours should be illegal.
Have FF/FG kept any promise they’ve ever made?
Hospital beds etc - nope
Climate and those big promises that were shared globally - nope
Ever worsening housing with inflationary incentives like Buyers allowance which was condemned by IMF.

If you plan on watching the Eddie Murphy documentary. Spare yourself the boredom.
It’s the most narcissistic self promoting nonsense. Paints him as an angel, never mentions any of his boo boo’s.
So uninteresting

Sorrrry did gov just scrap occupied territories bill? Eh…. Israel are expanding the territory and literally murdering people.

Apparently there’s a ceasefire in Gaza yet they’re still killing people who surrender and toddler collecting firewood.

The absolute lack of leadership from our government and the two main parties over the last 20 years in particular should be studied.
They are indecisive and they bend over constantly

This is a tragedy and a major failure by government both for the people with clean water, nature and for farmers who will have to go through this again. It’s a national disgrace and Gov have no issue with pumping 💩 into our water.

Really slippery slope amending the ECHR and a poor policy practice loosening anything that protects basic rights with current global rhetoric.
By all means increase the amount of people working on migration reduce the process time to 3-6 months.
But amending conventions is dark.

Lookin at a lot of corporate climate heads returning from COP and reading their LinkedIn posts is kind of vom. It reads like commerical tripe - such positive work, AI for good etc while ignoring indigenous protests, impact of AI on work/social structures and the fact it’s mostly crap

Those poor families in Louth/Monaghan, Meath and Scotland. Such a tragedy.

Just can’t fathom it. The first responders, front line workers and investigators deserve such credit for being able to manage these awful situations

I heard MAGA and the far right over in the US are having a meltdown about Trump on that other hell hole of a site and now I’m sad I can’t see it anymore to lol.

And the only reason that shiz is relevant to me is because it’s spilling over into Ireland and someone over there is paying for it.

Ireland has a totally incoherent approach to flood risk management. Moving flood water off bogs back into the Shannon River is surely just going to exacerbate flooding on farmland downstream.

That wisdom, once central to survival, has been buried under decades of short-term thinking & political negligence."

[Ireland's agri-ruled politics is water negligence too. #nitrates]
the Iranian drought story is insanely undercovered.
