…taken on a brilliant new WEM mentee, run creative writing sessions with my wonderful #BeyondTheSpectrum young writers, passed my driving theory test (woo-hoo!) and knitted most of this jumper (just the sleeves to go)! Hmm, maybe all this is why I'm a bit behind with my social media… 🤔

Excited to share that my story THE GHOSTS OF HOLLY HALL is being launched this Friday with Fiction Express! Every week, readers will vote for where they want the story to go next. And isn't the cover great? My MC, Lauren, has mild cerebral palsy like I do – I'm thrilled this has been represented!

Writing from the van office today in the freezing but beautiful Peak District (I have a mug of hot coffee and the diesel heater is on, so I'm nice and toasty!).

Thinking wistfully back to June, when we took Vera the Van for a big road trip up to Northumberland and the Scottish Borders and the weather was like this...Le sigh. Is there anyone else here who could happily hibernate between November and March?!

Number 7 for me. I wrote my first ever novel with a black Bic Crystal and nothing else has felt right since!

Well, it was my dad's, but I remember, as a 10 year old, losing HOURS to drawing pictures on Kidpix. Bloody loved that programme!
