A few days back I shared my 👇

Unpopular opinion

"The folder structure or where you place your files is NOT software architecture."

It can help with things like reducing cognitive load or making file changes simpler. But that doesn’t make it architecture. 😉

Today I justify my opinion. 👇

Today we gave a talk about feedback at @commit-conf.com with my colleague and friend Fernando del Caz, having more than 100 people in the room.

Gathering excellent feedback and also feedback to improve. Very happy and grateful.

Working effectively with legacy code.

From a manual testing, to automated testing using Golden master and characterization testing.

From structural programming to OOP.

From an awkward dependency to dependency inversion.

Before summer Chema Valera and I ran at the Internacional PHP conference Berlín:

- A workshop about #TDD and Pair programming (22 people and 4 remote)
- Talk about #bashunit

Today we got the feedback results.
