Is he denying all neurodivergence?

This makes 🤦🏼‍♀️. We've just entered the annual "tightening up on uniform phase" at my son's secondary school. He's ND. His blazer has been rolled at the bottom of his bag since September. His last exam is 13 weeks on Monday. He now requires a green card for his blazer to be at the bottom of his bag. 🤦🏼‍♀️

It's taking years for children to be appropriately supported, diagnosed and educated in a setting that can meet their needs. For many, it simply never happens and they miss out on an education altogether. Children, parents and families are being monumentally failed - tell the whole story!

Not one child I know who is struggling to attend school is at home because their parents just aren't sending them in. The education system is in crisis. It's understaffed, underfunded, outdated and for many children, not fit for purpose. The SEND system is broken.

There is so much more than parents working from home, being soft and not sending their children to school going on, so much more and it is literally breaking children, parents and families.

I remember attending a 'parents evening' for my then 6, maybe 7, month old and literally laughing at his key person when they started talking about his targets 🤪 Is he fed and watered, slept and cuddled? Is he happy? He's sitting his GCSE mocks after half term.
