I don't speak because it's brave, I speak because it's right, it matters, and the patients I care for daily who are being impacted by what's happening right now deserve our support. The public deserves information.
If you can and are speaking up, I see you.

Going into the black box you’re immersed with the sights and sounds of life under the ice.

Without the reflection of the sky, the light inside the box illuminates all the details of the ice.

Nobody asked but here’s what I think we should all do:

Find some way, however small, to make the world a better place.

You don’t have to do everything. (You can’t do everything.) So find the thing or things you CAN do, and do them.

The point is for you to be scared.

The point is for you to be too exhausted and inundated to take true action.

The point is for you to feel defeated.

The point is for you to feel isolated.

Don’t believe the point.

Take a deep breath.

Focus on community, on tangible actions.

One thing before tomorrow:

Use your local libraries.

Get your card.

Borrow books, manga, films, audios, ebooks.

Recommend titles for purchase (usually online).

Attend promoted activities.

Fill out those "How are we doing?" questionnaires.

Tell your kids that libraries are good.

They are.
