Exactly. Deportation is a lawful process. We're unlawfully disappearing people into a foreign gulag run by a man who calls himself the world's coolest dictator. It's also time to start using the term political prisoner to describe the students & activists being detained for their thoughts & speech.

Lazy journalists love to point out that Obama appointed Boasberg, absent the fact that he'd served on the Superior Court for 9 years, after being appointed by George W. Bush. He's not some crazy liberal activist judge.

It's also important to recognize that Boasberg has the respect of conservative colleagues on SCOTUS. Roberts appointed him to the FISA court and he's been friends with Kavanagh since Yale law school. Yes, Obama appointed him to the USDC, but he was confirmed 96-0. Every Republican voted for him.

I usually point out that Boasberg was appointed to the Superior Court by Bush, where he served 9 years. He was elevated to the USDC by Obama, where he was confirmed by the Senate 96-0. He was then appointed to the FISA Court by Chief Justice John Roberts.
