I thoroughly enjoyed The Vanishing Half, by Brit Bennett, especially as an identical twin.

Compelling characters, beautiful language flowing like a thread throughout and important messages about race and privilege. It has stayed with me.

The period between Christmas and new yesr when no-one knows what day it is, we live in our pyjamas and survive on chocolate and cheese!
