If Canada is looking for nation-building projects that improve affordability, enhance reliability, reduce our reliance on the US, and set us up for the future, don’t have to look much further than interprovincial transmission.

I think it would be hard to sell some people on the climate change side of these things but saying you have a massive quiet generator in your garage might make them gettable.

Emphasizing Canada's close trading relationship with the US will not protect us from tariffs. On the contrary, our close trading relationship is why Trump will impose 25% tariffs on our exports. We are the cash cow needed to fund Trump's tax cuts.
