The point wasn’t about whether or not someone would buy such a property, and me millions do, the point was that a lot of people don’t need a mortgage and therefore are not hindered by what banks will or won’t lend on.

It’s interesting that farmers claims they don’t use H-2A visa workers because it’s ’cumbersome and expensive’ (presumably they’re governed by minimum labor rates) and prefer to use illegals.

Populations changed because people were fleeing to California but eventually returned. However it took decades for the soil to start showing sign of recovery. In the meantime there were “Hoovervilles” (refugee camps for farmers and their families). It was devastating. Methods they used are below.

If you abolish negative gearing then they’ll reduce the tax rate on rental income; they’re part of the same equation. And if you abolish negative gearing then you will lose on capital gains and land tax. Landlords pay billions in taxes each year but governments fail to use that revenue for housing.

This is criminal. They’re destroying our standard of living. Here in Victoria where it’s cold, gas is being banned. Electricity just doesn’t heat as efficiently as electricity. And then there’s our energy Security relying on power alone. These people aren’t fit to govern. They’re dangerous.
