Thank you, Sir.
We were all terrified when it appeared that Dem leadership was throwing their hands in the air and saying there was NOTHING we could do. This was at least something. It was no small feat. And it served to give millions of us hope and energy to keep fighting.

This cuts administrative bloat—about 30% of U.S. health care costs come from paperwork and middlemen, compared to 1-3% in places like Taiwan or the UK with simpler systems.
Keep private insurance as an opt-in for extras (faster elective procedures, premium services), like Switzerland or Germany.

Here’s what I’d change, based on what’s known about health care systems globally and the U.S.’s unique challenges:
Shift to a Single-Payer Core with Private Options
Replace the fragmented mess of insurers with a single-payer base system covering essential care (Medicare-for-All but streamlined).

To make America’s health care system the best in both outcomes and affordability, I’d approach it like an engineer tackling a complex optimization problem—strip it down to first principles, identify inefficiencies, and rebuild with clear goals: universal access, high-quality care, and cost control.

Does anyone think Musk cares about these declining sales? The drop in Twitters value didn't seem to bother him at all. And he is raking in government contracts in the US and abroad. Seems to me he's going to come out ahead, but he doesn't seem to give AF either way.
