I'm home from SDCC now to recover, but despite the short visit, I feel energized and hopeful.

One thing I found interesting was the section about his style's evolution, particularly how he came to a balance of an explosion of experimental pencilling vs the standard 5-7 paneled pagem
and of course the development of the Kirby crackle!

Went to the Jack Kirby exhibit at the Skirball. It was incredible seeing his original pencils and collages. A very well thought out exhibit!

While certain tools have been developed to aid the editing process, the ever-evolving medium of comics requires a keen eye as well as the knowledge and skills that come from years of studying comics and working in comics production.

However the end goal is the same, to present comics in a way that's accessible and legible on any digital device
