most of the time people confidently saying egregiously wrong info on the internet is either concerning or enraging…occasionally it is very funny. You typed this whole comment out thinking you have no muscles in your hands???!
Screenshot of comments on a Reddit post. A deleted user wrote “just a heads up, I’m not a doctor, but I’m pretty damn sure there aren’t any muscles in your palms/hands. Your hands/fingers are controlled by ligaments attached to your forearm muscles. It probably wouldn’t hurt to consult a doctor. OP replied: apparently there are (with a link to a website about the muscles in the hand) I don’t pretend to be smart about it or something..I’m not, I just Googled it

looking through the NYPL archives this morning and this letter made me laugh — “can you tell me, in an official capacity (I will keep it a secret who exactly told me so) that the Missouri building was the best at the worlds fair. They said that at the San Fran one 😌😌😌”
Dr. Frank Monaghan Administration Building Worlds fair, NY Dear Dr. Monaghan, Here is a rather ingenuous request from the secretary of the state historical society of Missouri: “I am interested to learn in confidence, of course, whether or not the Missouri building at the New York exposition is the finest and most impressive state building, excluding, of course, as I assume the New York building. I have not seen this stated but it came to me that it might be true since I have heard that this is the case at the San Francisco exposition. Whatever you write me will be regarded in confidence, but will enable me, perhaps to make some statement on the matter without reference to authority. I know our state has been quite generous in providing for its building and exhibits at both expositions and that our state is very proud of what it has done. I should appreciate a line from you at your convenience.”
