I admired John Kennedy, and the later Bobby Kennedy, and especially Eunice K Shriver - a great woman. Jack Schlossberg is a young man of little accomplishment, save self-promoting videos. He is a product of great wealth and privilege far removed from most Americans. We don’t need him in Congress.

Mayor-elect Mandani already has lost my support. According to the NYT, he wants to primary and oust Democratic representative Dan Goldman, whom I consider to be among the best in the Congress. Why? His views on Israel. That is a dangerous (and ignorant) position. I now regret Mamdani’s election.

Just ran out to grocery store to get frozen French fries to go with Burgers for dinner. Normal sized bag of Ore-Ida fries was $7.29. Have we imposed tariffs on Idaho? Or is it the non-existent price gouging, I bought the Harris Teeter store brand.

I canceled my subscription to WAPO 6 weeks ago and realized I am no more nor less informed than when I read it. It helps that most reporters and columnists worth reading are now engaged elsewhere.

I am glad the remaining Israeli hostages have been released. It is troubling to me that the Israeli hostages have been in the headlines for two years, talked about by heads of state, yet there is almost no notice of the Ukrainian children taken by force by Russia. Estimated number 19,500 to 200,000.

Perhaps I’m too partisan, but the praise for Trump’s Gaza peace deal as master diplomacy by the media sickens me. He supported and underwrote a two-year genocide killing 100000+ people, and the demolition of 95% of Infrastructure in Gaza. That’s not diplomacy, that’s crimes against humanity
