I do similar! Frigate is running in k8s on certain mini-pcs tagged with the Google Coral TPUs. Seems to work pretty stably :)

Years ago I had built a Softrock SDR transceiver, then upgraded that with the multi band motherboard. Now there's so many options 😊

I find Mastodon has a much more technical/nerdy crowd still. The projects there tend to be more interesting people are working to me. But here it's more about being social like Twitter

Thank you for the reply!! I do have a mmdvm hotspot on a pi zero and it works really well 😊 I don't want to dox myself, but have been able to hit a couple local DMR repeaters on my attic antenna. However right not it's not practical to use it with the HT. I may get a small mobile for my desk
