This person is correct. It's still in effect, in fact. It has passed either the House or the Senate, but never both. In 300 characters, you can say so much. A dem has sponsored or co-sponsored the repeal. And it is still law.

Idk whether the screams of thousands of geographers, or the cha-ching of educational book publishers is louder. Maybe it's the millions upon millions of dollars to change the names for no reason except pride. And pride comes before the fall according to them, so whatever I guess.
