I worded myself badly there, it is a strike, but Hoyo games are not involved since they're not the target according to what they're asking for

I don't feel the need to explain why a guild is acting for profit since it's what they were made for (If you want an example, Vader AI voice and them suing it even tho it had consent of the family), but if you want to see someone of the industry talk about it there's Allegra Clark on Twitter

Have been for a long while in their benefit yet they're still pushing to make the games become "unionized" while holding the jobs of a lot of US VA's hostage which is why they're changing to employ from other countries where guilds don't pretend to be unions

First thing, it's not a strike and never was, at least when talking about the Hoyo games according to what other VA's have said in the past few months, the leave every VA has done for this games is purely in support for the ones actually striking, so they're just not showing up to work for months

Sorry, I'm not from the US, I don't see the guild tactics that have made actors lose their jobs already as something positive nor something an actual union from anywhere else would do
