I did almost the same. Flew to Nashville day of a concert, drove right to the venue, stayed in a hotel nearby, flew out the first thing next morning. No regrets.

I do miss those.

As a recent transplant from Columbus, I cannot agree with this more. Going to be a huge sports weekend and the light rail is easy, cheap, and going to get you where you wanrt to go.
