Today two of my #poems went into the world in a new way! "Cello" and "Backyard by Ear" were unveiled as part of #Poetchry, an accessible #poetry exhibit in Cobourg's Ecology Garden, Ontario. The work of disabled poets was carved into picnic tables by a master woodworker.

Today was my first day #teaching without York, my #guidedog, in 11 years. Thank you to everyone who remembered this and texted me. Your words were warm, kind, and encouraging.

11 years ago today, I was matched with my first guide dog – a faithful friend and incredible gift!
