Loving yourself is a form of wisdom; understanding yourself is a form of growth.
It's heartbreaking to hear this. His wife and children must be terrified. Innocent families shouldn't have to endure such trauma. I hope they receive support and fair treatment as soon as possible.
My constituent, Wilmer, was mauled by an ICE attack dog despite the fact that, as he has consistently explained, he was not resisting arrest or trying to flee—his wife and young children, all U.S. citizens, were forced to watch helplessly as Wilmer was violently attacked and dragged away.

I was truly shocked after watching this video. Using artificial intelligence to analyze case data has definitely improved efficiency and demonstrates the importance of technology in investigations.
Video: a summation of what we know so far about the pipe bomber investigation into Brian J. Cole, Jr.

They are suggesting new tools, like AI data search tools, may have helped them filter the large amount of data that was gathered on the case.

Oracle Chairman Larry Ellison became the world's second richest person on Thursday, reclaiming the title from Google co-founder Larry Page. Previously, the stock price of Google's parent company, Alphabet, had cooled down after several weeks of rising momentum.

This is so tragic. It's heartbreaking to hear that innocent civilians have been harmed. I hope the victims' families will receive fair treatment.

Two days vs. fifty days—the contrast is glaring. Regardless of who is in power, everyone should be treated equally, and procedures should not be used as a political tool.
JUST IN: Mike Johnson plans to swear in Rep.-elect Matt Van Epps on Thursday — less than two days after he won the TN-07 special election.

As a reminder, it took Johnson 50 days to swear in Democratic Rep. Adelita Grijalva.

This meeting followed Trump's earlier phone call with Maduro, which did not go as he had hoped. My message was simple: Trump was angry and was looking for an opportunity to act.

You will soon hear the usual cover-up story—"drugs," "drug cartels," "protecting American security."

Seeing thousands of people gathered at the port ruins for Mass truly made one feel the power of faith and the yearning for peace.
Thousands of people gathered Tuesday near Beirut’s destroyed port where Pope Leo XIV celebrated a waterfront Mass. It was an extraordinary end to his first international trip as head of the Roman Catholic Church, which he used to deliver a message of peace to a tumultuous region. trib.al/QaoHdq9

There will always be discrepancies between the media's and the White House's accounts. It's best to release the full schedule and let everyone judge for themselves, rather than blaming each other.
Leavitt: "The NYT took about 1/3 of the president's daily calendar & schedule & said that he's doing less than he did in his first term, or he might not be fit for the job. That is unequivocally false and it's deeply unfortunate that the story was written ... he is taking meetings around the clock"

Thanksgiving is supposed to be a time for unity, but extreme rhetoric will only exacerbate conflicts.
New in PN: Trump's ugly Thanksgiving meltdown

"Trump is always vile & erratic, but spewing slurs on Thanksgiving feels like an escalation even for him. It suggests he’s desperate to find his Reichstag Fire — a violent incident he can use to rally his supporters & as an excuse to target his foes."

While 1.4% may sound low, the pressure many families are experiencing cannot be fully reflected in the numbers alone. The cumulative increase in prices in real life is what truly affects everyone.
Hassett: "You mentioned quite accurately the 1.4% increase in grocery prices. The interesting thing about that is it's way below the Fed's target of 2% for everything else. So you'd have to concede that 1.4% is very very low inflation."

While lawyers can analyze the legality of wording, such remarks can have a significant impact on society. Shouldn't we give more consideration to the long-term effects of such statements on the social and political climate?
