Allegedly it "escalated to a colleague" but obviously not urgently, and they're already off work I guess so-fuck me for wanting to double check if it was safe to turn on the heat tonight! In winter!

It's kind of unclear at this point if anyone works at my apartment complex at all. I came home early just so I could check if maintenance came by and have time to visit the office if not. Office was already closed

Well, it's actually surprisingly functional at parsing what I say and putting the information in a maintenance ticket online. But, critically, it makes it entirely impossible to tell if anyone is actually /working/ on the issue

I've wondered off and on what she's been up to. And in hindsight, it's obvious she would do the same. We were so close! Those bonds stick with you even if they go dormant. And if we both think of each other sometimes-well, it's bound to sync up once in awhile. Just glad she acted on it!
