Exactly. Despite all the high hopes for something different, it’s starting to feel like more of the same kind of leadership — lots of talk about ethics and transparency, but little follow-through when it actually matters.

My husband and I used to be CBC devotees, but they have become so biased and one-sided in recent years that we just tune them out entirely. Saint John had a great morning radio show, but it seems all they do today is use it to drive leftwing politics. We need diverse views at the table

A fair point and it’s great that you’re supporting artists more directly. I think it’s also important to have a diverse range of opinions & voices on any platform. Healthy debate & exposure to different perspectives help keep conversations balanced & open, even when we don’t agree with all of them.
