Today: the incredibly scenic bus journey from Carlisle into Scotland, the Borders Railway from Tweedbank, a wander around Edinburgh, and walking the Forth Road Bridge (whilst trying not to be blown away). 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Hello, Bluesky! Starting as I mean to go on: this weekend I walked from Kings Sutton to Brackley (7 miles) and discovered a secret corner of Northamptonshire that's pretty much an honorary Cotswolds. 🤩 Walk from Walk Midlands
A small green with a large tree in the middle of a split T-junction. There is a sign on the T-junction pointing left to Twyford, Aynho, and Banbury, and right to Newbottle, Charlton, and Brackley. In the background among more trees are a pair of horses being ridden on the road approaching the junction. The view from the top of a hill on a cloudy day. Rolling fields can be seen, along with multiple treelines. In the distance on the right, the steeple of a church can be seen between the trees. A heritage sign at the side of a road pointing to Brackley to the left and Evenly, Charlton, and Croughton to the right. The sign also points towards the photographer indicating a path to Farthinghoe along a gated road. Opposite the sign is a converted farmhouse with three cars in the garage. A town centre street with shops and parked cars either side of the road. In the middle, the street splits to go around a building with a small ornate clock tower.
