Finally feeling like a true urbanist: took delivery of our first e-bike today and installed the toddler seat for daycare drop off. Enjoyed a lovely ride home! Strictly e-bikes in Alx gets a 10/10

4. Met our incredible future governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia herself!!

Disney got it wrong. #BikeToWorkDay is the happiest place on earth!

This has nothing to do with the other guy on the other platform and everything to do with my daughter is 3.5 months old and has NEVER BEEN IN A GASOLINE-POWERED VEHICLE!! Pic from August shortly after she was born.

All of the other houses on the street look like this and they are truly steps from the metro. Missing middle was made for this lot!!

Just learned that this empty lot adjacent to my yard near EFC metro has been untouched for 6 mos because it’s a candidate for missing middle development! Truly a YIMBY moment. Excited to see how this plays out now, rather than just dreading the construction noise.
