It’s a very interesting idea. Needs commitment to funding to make it work, but I think the push for roads to be safe spaces for everyone should not be forgotten. Thanks for inviting me on.

I take your point but I think there’s also a lot more that farmers could and should be investing in as essential tools of the trade - soil, animal welfare, biodiversity, water etc - if the tax system was aligned to better outcomes.
