On the last day of Michael D’s presidency, paying tribute to his splendid run as Head of State for the past 14 years. Meeting him has always been such a pleasure, incl for the 2019 launch of the Strzelecki exhibition with the Embassy of Poland in the Royal Irish Academy with Prof Peter Gray (1/3)

Received Samin Nosrat’s new cookbook ‘Good Things’ as a birthday gift yest - it’s delightful! Made chicken schnitzel for dinner tonight, and new potatoes with her ‘house dressing’, along with pickled vegetables - turned out perfectly. Her writing reflects the joy it gives me to cook for my family 🥰
