Mine are all in a book as I tend to loose pieces of paper! This book has every trap I've done from 2023 - 2025, uploaded to iRecord when I can and I download the spreadsheet when I want. I have my own little codes, dots for ?NFG, * for best in the box etc and can keep track of species by season

Remember a little while ago I said that the Joint Derbyshire moth Verification and Recording Team had been shortlisted for the @nbntrust.bsky.social awards? We only went and won it! Thank you @spinneybirder.bsky.social for your wonderful company! #teammoth #VC57

A respectable 119 of 26 this morning with a very bright moon and clear sky here in VC57. Another Palpita vitrealis to add to the collection and Cyprus Pug a rarity here

My first ever Spoonbill on the rocks of Castillo Caleta de Fuste, Fuerteventura. Accidently turning into a birding holiday with a Ruddy Turnstone and Little Egret from the apartment balcony

A better picture of yesterday's Clifden nonpareil. Three were caught in my town over the weekend from two traps in two gardens at either end of the town, the other two much better examples than this one!

Couldn't have gotten a closer view of Palpita vitrealis if I tried!

It might be battered, it might be bruised, it might be a terrible photo through the side of my child's pooter because I didn't have anything big enough at hand, but I don't care, because look what I got!!!!!

This evening's Pooter 'catch and release' from the kitchen. Solitary bees, wasps, several hover fly species and true flies. All released safely into the garden, probably to be eaten by the screaming party of swifts that have been overhead all day

Not a busy morning, 192 of 45, trap emptied and packed away in 45 mins. Very windy here in #VC18 , moths being blown off the boxes when unpacking.
Rosy knot horn best.
