Yess I used to do this w my grandpa too. And they taste amazing. I only have access to a little balcony (city) but thinking of switching from my usual flower boxes to some easy veg… maybe use farmers markets or a CSA for the rest! Wholefoods is right up the road but I’m done handing my $$ over

lol it’s so bad, they’ve got us addicted to the convenience of credit cards and online shopping… we need to pretend it’s the 90s… take our cash out and shop local, in person 🛍️ 💅

Love this energy. A one time event does nothing. We need long term changes... I already shop small when I can, but almost always pay w/credit cards.. yesterday had me thinking about switching to cash all the time. It’s a small behavior change that could make a huge difference en masse

I’m just confused because rampant disease would put them at risk, too… I knew they were callous, but they’re so self interested, I’m surprised they’d put *themselves* at risk…

Are you saying he got it from another person? Or, he’s had no known contact with birds? I’m also curious about the possibility of airborne transmission from animals to humans. 😕 I appreciate people sharing their experiences…

If bird flu goes pandemic it’s likely to be much worse… the virus is way more deadly. The death rates in humans are very scary. Would make Covid look like NBD.
