This morning at Preston Crown Court, my attacker was sentenced to 3 years in prison for breach of restraining order.
The reality is, the most he will spend in prison is one year. (1/3)

This comes as the govt’s new pilot of DAPNs and DAPOs aims to improve protections. Yet given DVPOs were used in 1% of cases, all signs point to wholesale change in policing need for this to succeed.
