I had my tonsillectomy on Wednesday just passed.

How's your recovery going?

My parents always refer to it as 'Fair fortnight'.

I love it - my birthday falls during the fortnight. I've mostly had my celebrations away from home, on holiday.
It always felt exciting during the build up to the fortnight. Especially when we travelled to our holiday destination on the train!

Absolutely agree with this. It's a nightmare coming down from Scotland.
I don't fly, but use an EV to holiday because I'm not bound by cancellations or over crowded carriages.

If the train was a viable option, I'd use it.

It's pishing down where I am in Scotland today. That's one thing ticked off at least!

Thank you for this PSA!

I only found out about Gunnera last year. Loved the look of it and promptly looked it up for my garden.

Was gutted when I found out what it's all about and that I couldn't have it in the garden!

Absolute fannies, is what they'd be called where I live.

I do. Have no idea what it is. Radio show?

Aye, I think that's his game as well. He's an agitator and hoping it'll serve him well in the future.

Hope it does a food job of switching off your thoughts for a while!

I'm tempted by it too.

It's much better IMO. Takes away the anxiety of the new year and stops kids from not attending the last few weeks of school.

I'm new to roses, getting my 2 David Austin bushes just at the start of this year. Very exciting watching them grow and they now have flower buds!
Can't wait to see how they turn out.
I'm normally not very patient, but I'm hoping they'll be worth it.
Yours are lovely!

Sorry to hear about your soul dog. I'm sure these two will bring you so much joy.

My wee Lhasa, Tia; gave me 16 years of happiness.

They've just popped up on my feed. Are they Lhasa Apso pups?

I had one when I was a teenager. Best wee dogs - very stubborn but full of character.

They're gorgeous!
