I recently came across my old pop o matic Trouble, and decided to refurbish it. Because memories.

I cleaned it,

made a panel to replace the missing one,

and made new pieces using rolled strips of paper.

It’s not perfect. That wasn’t the point.

💕it’s back in commission!💕

Strips of paper rolled with glue around a toothpick, to make new pieces for my old pop o matic trouble game. Refurbished pop o matic Trouble game with a new panel and pieces made by me. It’s a bit wonky but that’s okay.

Yesterday was apparently #worldfrogday and it reminded me of the best nature photo I will likely ever take.
On any given summer, this handsome toad, like generations of its ancestors, can/could be found on the second to last step of this medieval cellar.

I hope this never changes.
