I was a skeptic and enjoyed it, thought it was worth seeing in a theater for a few key scenes. That said it was l-o-n-g and maybe if I worked a full time job I wouldn't want to spend three hours of my precious life seeing it.

or maybe pool trickshots? pros: very fun at parties, pool table in the garage makes you the envy of the neighborhood, undeniably cool. cons: pool table in the garage means nothing else in the garage, once you're known as the pool trickshot guy you're probably stuck with that the rest of your life

model train pros: sort of fun to talk about at parties maybe, good creative outlet, logic puzzle, taps into childhood nostalgia. cons: $$$$, takes up space, frivolous

ham radio pros: my dad does it so i could get his old stuff, good apocalypse skill, you can bounce stuff off the moon. cons: seems like everyone who does it is basically my dad's age/gender, gear is $$$, not very fun to talk about at parties
