I have two cats and a computer
I’m going back to work soon (remote) and the cats are ECSTATIC. I sat at my desk to set things up and the cats instantly occupied the entire thing. They don’t particularly like snuggling together, but they made an exception just because I’m back

I hate when bodies betray us, as if life wasn’t hard enough already. So sorry you’re in this situation.

As someone who has also been betrayed, I too treat my meat sack as a separate entity when I’m having a hard time with it, I didn’t know other people did too

We have a big paper calendar in the kitchen wall where our appointments/events go, and also shared virtual calendar to coordinate family things. A big bonus for the paper calendar is that I can remind him of an important appointment of his if he seems to be forgetting

They do! I just bought a little bag last week, but I guess it’s not in all markets?

The nurse was so sad that she had allowed me to take the previous IV lines off, I tried to reassure her that the shower had been worth it

She ended up calling an ANAESTHESIOLOGIST to put the IV line in my arm, who did it flawlessly at the first try. I felt very special that day 😂

She called a colleague, she also couldn’t do it. They called their boss, and older lady that took one look at me and didn’t even try (apparently they were running out of “good spots” in my arms and didn’t want to risk it)

When I had my baby earlier this year, I had two IV lines during labor that I later begged the nurse to take off (after two days!) to take a proper shower. The very next day I needed an infusion, and the same nurse tried to put the IV lines and couldn’t

We tried putting them in normal bags that would then go in the normal trash, but the smell was horrible (we don’t take the garbage out every day). So we switched to the litter genie, usually taking the bag out once a week is enough, zero smells.

Not a super big magnet, just one of these that have a little hook to hang things from

Your story reminded me, I only have one sister, we still had toy cars, but instead of having races or learning about car things, our toy cars formed little families and had stories, just like playing with dolls 😅

Also, the horrible cycle of being too tired to get food, but feeling so much worse without said food

This is so beautiful!! I can’t believe people go complain to you about the state of the cementery, how can this be more perfect!?

Ooh my husband and one of our cats have their own little ritual, where she gets into a box (always the same, always in the living room), and he picks up the box and tours around our place with her peeking out, so she can inspect the upper side of the closets and cabinets. It’s so cute! 🥰
