I think you absolutely have a lot to offer. Opening doors in publishing isn’t what I’d be looking for from a mentor. I already have an agent. I’d be looking for someone with more experience and skill than most of my crit partners to help guide my work and help keep me from getting stuck.

Sketchbooks are supposed to be messy. That’s what they’re FOR—the daily practice, the working out of ideas. Those instagrammers who show their exhibition-worthy sketchbook pieces make me so mad 😂

In the case it means Picture Book. It is a widely known acronym in writing circles 😉

I’ve also been wanting to do this (I wrote/dummied one PB/GN hybrid that didn’t sell on sub). My prob is I base my stories on my ND kids and get feedback like “no kid is like that” 🤨
