On a separate note, I kept having hot flushes when I was resting in my lil cubicle. Was it the aftermath of anaesthetic? Yes. Could it also have been down to the fact that my nurses were all beautiful women and I’m a massive lezzer? Respectfully, also yes. 😗

Eventually I’ll have answers, for now I’ve just gotta sit patient. 🤞🏼

The laparoscopy was purely diagnostic so she was unable to search any further than my womb and ovaries in terms of endometriosis growth. Personally, I consider myself to have too many symptoms for there to /not/ be further endo growth elsewhere… like on my kidneys or bladder.

I had the tiniest amount of endometriosis (that my surgeon was able to search for in her area of expertise). She highly doubts my pain is from a result of anything gynaecological, so the next step is to book in some scans on my kidneys etc. 🫠

On a more serious note, even if it took another seventeen years to discover the root cause of pain, to have been told that my womb and ovaries are clear from scars and adhesions—and that my fertility is in no way impacted by pain—is everything to me. 😭♥️
