It’s definitely worth reading the source material. The blogger seems to really misstate (whether intentionally or not) the severity of the issue. There is a lot of technicality, but the blog seems really set on sparking a shock value when the report is much more mundane of a finding. 😅

So am I correct in assuming you didn’t actually read what the GAO report said, just what a random blogger with a clear bias said? I’ve been trained in accountancy, and the blogger’s opinion misrepresents the GAO report entirely.

Are you talking about this instance that occurred near the end of Trump’s presidency? And where 7 of the 8 recommendations have been implemented and closed? Also, “missing” is a misnomer.

Yes! I worked on several as a grad assistant and would not have been able to get my education without federal grants from HRSA. The research these groups do is invaluable as well.

The man literally posted it on Truth Social. I don’t know why we needed “experts” to confirm this.
