It's been hard to miss the flood of new followers, so hi everyone! I'm a PhD student researching women in medieval manorial law, with a broad interest in gender/sexuality/law in medieval England/Ireland and cross-cultural contact. I'm currently drowning in archival visits, so enjoy these photos!

Hi everyone! My PhD is about women in local medieval law, though I'm broadly interested in gender, social history, intercultural contact, and a touch of medievalism in media. I occasionally stumble across marginalia in the court rolls, so I've included this fun (and rather exceptional) piece!
