That much face to face time means that I don’t get to know my students as individuals—5 hours of classes with more than 35 kids, so I rarely review their work to get insight into their individual needs and gaps. It’s all about getting quick broad snapshots bc that’s all I can fit in.

My union helped ensure that I could keep teaching safely thru covid even though I was in a high risk group. They protected teachers when they were attacked by M4L community members.
