Photography has never been more accessible, and that’s shaping our methods of storytelling. Images are taken and shared online every day, and it has become a form of micro-journalism, capturing moments that might otherwise go unseen. Keep documenting. It matters.

As much as I love my camera, I’ve learned at the J-School that even an older phone can do the trick. With how far smartphone cameras have come, it’s less about the gear and more about just taking the shot. This one’s from my profile story in JOURN 1400 at Mizzou.
