Getting stuck while we're writing is a feature, not a bug. It's the point of the exercise. It's what happens when we are trying to express something we have not expressed before. That friction forces us to make the tools we need to understand and express it. Getting stuck is how we make meaning.

I'm much more of a composer than I am... a musician, I guess? I don't play instruments very well overall. But I can competently play a riff I wrote a couple years ago on my electric guitar at a decent tempo now. It was written for 180 bpm but playing it at 150 is a new PB for me.

Realized that my demo reel still has my other Bsky account on it. Oops. Lemme just, fix that, real quick 😳

At this moment, when I have set up the simplest possible portfolio site, I remember the wise words of people on the Internet: anything worth doing is worth doing poorly.

Better to have a simple site with my demo reel and a selection of my releases than no site at all!

Now that I've put more of my music on Bandcamp, I put together a small, serviceable portfolio site!
