Apparently Portland is now war ravaged. I mean, the lines were a little long when I went to IKEA a couple weeks ago and then chased that with a traveling broadway show and a walk through downtown to a waterfront Italian cafe for cocktails and pasta. The war must have been a couple streets over…

Why is my bag moving? Karma!

I just need to know what the pitch deck for this Mood pattern was:

It’s like a cover up, but doesn’t!

Why hide your designer underwear, when you could showcase it instead?

Economic crash? Save fabric with this daring new dress.

Resort dress codes got you down?Defy, don’t comply.

Breathable.

Nothing is quite as refreshing as that bedtime sip of water right after putting the night guard in… 💧🤓💤

Asbestos. Bombs. Hate crimes. Kidnappings. Cutting social services, access to info, and free third spaces. Artificially inflating an already volatile market. Ending critical health & climate funding. Manufacturing violence. Shutting suicide hotlines. Flouting ethics.Tell me again how this is great?

The amount of excitement the pets show for going upstairs is a little disturbing.

Idk what witchery goes into migraine glasses, but they make a huge difference for me. Don’t feel well, but I’m able to work in pain vs. curled up in a ball trying not to vomit and cry…so…

Shhh! Don’t tell Troy 😉. Better believe we’re flying and soaring after sharing this Diet Coke.

Coming after Smithsonian now? Despicable. I started reading their magazine as a child, visited Space & Flight, Natural History,
& American History at 12, and learned so much about people, the world, & universe because of them. Hate is fueled by fear of the unknown, so knowledge becomes the enemy.

Just had a work meeting where I found out that apparently Gen X doesn’t know Ms. Frizzle from Magic School Bus?!! They never went on magical imaginary trips for science? Might explain a lot…

Happy Friday to everyone except my dog who has woken me up every 30 minutes since 3 a.m.

Today’s meeting interruption, “uh, be right back. Looks like my chicken escaped and I just let my dog out and he’s currently chasing it.”

Return to office could never.

I don’t think the “I’ll be back” reprise in Hamilton 2 is going to be as much of a banger with a red baseball cap and no British accent. Also when Angelica said “include women in the sequel” this is so not what she meant.

I ate my lunch yogurt out of a crystal dessert cup today. And I’m not going to say it solved this never ending fear, depression, and existential dread, but I did get like a really nice 30 second dopamine boost. 💕👑🔮

The way I know I don’t have main character energy is that it took 24 years for one person to fall for me. These YA heroines have a new love interest every 30 minutes, so dramatic and tortured. It’s nicer to be the bookish background character w/reasonable boundaries & communication skills.

Me, filing my taxes, wondering if I should hold off a little longer just in case they screw up the IRS system so much it can’t find me… 🤔🤔🤔

Watching the snow fall and reflecting on how peace, like snow, is fleeting. I think the problem with the YA dystopia I grew up on is that it focused on after the fall, instead of during. History classes painted current day as far past, glorifying nationalism, burying racism. Complacent, complicit.

Awfully ballsy of this miscreant to calmly nap after waking me up in twenty minute intervals all night thanks to a self induced panic attack. In unrelated news - anybody looking for a sweet snuggle buddy? Very cute (when being good), loves personal attention, doesn’t shed or drool.
