thanks to a hilarious review at my local chemist, @averenasour.bsky.social and I discovered that Scottish bank notes exist, issued by the Bank of Scotland, which is legal tender in the UK! Also, the Bank of Ireland, with HQ in Dublin, is allowed to issue bank notes on British soil apparently??
