so much of my pla experience so far has just been "oh god i can see why they changed this in z-a" 😭😭 its SUPER rough around the edges

turn based battles work perfectly fine in the mainline games but in a game where you have to interact with this many wild pokemon to get research and progress the story it feels so slow and bad to the point where i just started avoiding aggressive pokemon whenever i could

hay fever eczema asthma and eoe are a demon combo because they're not usually deadly or even necessarily debilitating but such a fucking pain in the ass to deal with

also the sans alphys parallels he brought up are a win for umbratale tbh. ive been on this for a while. I definitely need to flesh out sans more in the au though, i introduced napstablook in the soundtrack uploads before him

i'm not in pain or anything and i dont think its at risk of infection, i just don't trust myself to mix and master while my Real Life EQ is fucked up on one side

worst comes to worst i could just make a directwave preset that has a different sample for each octave but it'd be cool if there was an actual plugin for this stuff
i know of PAPU but to my knowledge it doesn't let you make your own waveforms

its literally just a sample which is like good enough but im pretty sure the gameboy handles changing the pitch differently than your average sampler does because i can't ever get it to sound *exactly* right
i could always just do it in furnace or something I GUESS but thats HARDDD
