Cloud did not, analysts expect us to reach general intelligence within a couple of years. “AI” is not going anywhere. It will just get formed more and more.

Developers will continue to favor Windows as a platform though so that union strategy would be excellent for Xbox. Competition is good, diversity even better. Let’s not jump on “console wars” style wagons.

Generative AI changes already, invasively, many jobs and how things are done. I do see it in my job and field.

I wouldn’t even attempt to compare these. When you have these big corporations focusing so much in AI it’s a whole another level. Didn’t see apple offer NFTs or Microsoft embracing blockchain. These math done math.

the word headsets is what makes the whole difference. Smart Glasses are a whole another category of *experience*

Aside from the price where there is nothing mainstream about it, it’s the fact that it’s still not “the normal” to WEAR a VR headset and just use it. The process sometimes can take longer than expected as well. It’s so many things that need to be ironed down to achieve “mainstream”.
