Restarted my play of @jeeyon.bsky.social and @kevinkulp.bsky.social's Wait for Me last night with prompt no. 13 - A rough one! But I'm really looking forward to digging back into this game, after so long away. According to the receipt on prompt no. 1, it was started in 2023!! 😅

I can't believe I haven't been sharing my progress on these little guys, but I finished up the Humblewood Heroes (from @hitpointpress.bsky.social) miniature set last night! I really struggled with the wizard and ranger, but I'm very happy with them overall.

A screenshot of my review of To The Bone: Honestly, it's very hard to write a review about this book. It's a HARD book. It made my chest ache, and it made me cry. The author's notes were the perfect cherry on top. I loved this book, and I went into it with zero expectations. The subject matter is challenging, and uncomfortable - As a white person living on stolen land, the dual aspects of what was done to the Native Americans and what happened to the colonists are uncomfortable. And they should be. I urge folks to read this book. Sit with the uncomfortable understanding of what happened in this time, and how the consequences are still felt by people in our world today. Learn how you can work to make reparations. Maybe that work starts here for you, with a fictional story of two girls in love.

It's been two years since I finished Erza of Dedheim, from Kingdom Death. Not my best work, by a long shot, but still. She's one that I can look back at and be happy with.

I thought I was ready, but I really wasn't. Farewell North has been an incredibly moving experience - There were a lot of tears tonight.

This will be a hard one to put into words. My feelings about this one will be complicated. But so far: I am loving it.

Hey, creatives! What is the thing you've made this year that you're most proud of?

Mine is this game I released in April - My first completed Wretched & Alone game, with some extra mechanics. It's a love letter to Hinterland Games' The Long Dark, and I'm so glad that it exists.
