Namely, the reporter critiquing the video claims that anti-androgen only therapy for NB patients is dangerous misinformation due to bone density loss. This is a real concern, but the approach is supported by the primary source with the caveat that levels are closely monitored to avoid density loss.

This video seems to be a fairly good critique of the SciShow video if you're truly worried about amplifying dangerous signals. I disagree with some of the stronger claims here, personally, after consulting primary sources, but good critique nonetheless.

To add some context since I was blocked by the original commenter: I'm a trans woman, and I wholly support being critical of and calling out mistakes even from people you admire. I just think it's important to perform due diligence before accepting a surprising claim without accompanying evidence
