Everything in the game reinforces the concept. Mini games are really simple but make you feel in character. Brilliantly written. Great music mood. Extremely fun and well presented. 👍👍👍

Only the few people who have extensively played these two niche game can understand, but imagine... what if a new "Toe Jam & Earl" game was made, but with "Baby Steps", character controller? That would be absolutely insane. I would love to make such a game. Coop-funkotronic roguelite.

I went to see the movie adaptation from Japanese indie game Exit 8. I really liked it!
It's weird, scary, with impressive camera direction and picture.
Game design-wise, I love that it's a game/movie based only on a toddler's game (7 differences) (cc @randotwino.bsky.social)

Upside: I finished Ninja Gaiden Ragebound!
I absolutely loved it. It's a genuine 90's game arcade experience, from the gameplay to the writing, music, mood (but with modern iii quality).

Woke up at 5am this morning, couldn't sleep anymore.
Upside: I finished Ninja Gaiden Ragebound!
I absolutely loved it. It's a genuine 90's game arcade experience, from the gameplay to the writing, music, mood (but with modern iii quality).

Playtests are extremely useful, and they do confirm the game offers a very unique game experience. 🤞

Also, although I have tons of notes and things to fix and polish, I'm quite happy with how the core experience makes the playtesters feel.

Had lots of fun making it. It's about the FREE SOLO mode, a game mode with extreme stakes where the any mistake can be fatal (no rope, no checkpoint, smaller backpack).
I wasn't able to complete the game in that mode yet 😅 (but i've seen people make it).

In 2006, i went to Japan for the 1st time and fell in love with onigiri. Coming back to France, i investigated to import them in France, in train stations etc. People told me « this is stupid, will never work ».
Now they have them in train stations and they sell them 4x the price (and taste bad).

Cool dev story. My 10y.o. daughter asked me about Squids (2011), if people played the game. I told her someone wrote me a mail about how they were 10 when they played it and now they have finished school and have a job (and still remember the game).
