USDA blocked discounts for SNAP, fought states that covered benefits, fired workers, said they didn’t deserve back pay + froze infrastructure $ in blue cities. Every bit of it was deliberate.

We’re seeing the party’s internal war play out in real time. There seems to be a civil war going on inside the GOP, as leaders debate whether to embrace or disavow the extremists gaining traction with young voters.
