KIA might get what they wanted after all with the Kachin substate stuff by pledging support to the PDFs in Momeik
November 12, 2025 at 1:18 PM
October map update- TNLA ceasefire transfer to PDF, AA and KIA make gains and KNA takes over Lay Kay Kaw.
Legend modified to be a bit more intuitive on allignment without completely ignoring the differences between groups.

Just had a thought that the junta + BGF might be blowing up KK Park to get rid of evidence
October 26, 2025 at 5:17 PM
Looks like the resistance-alligned Cobra Column filled in the valley of the tatmadaw artillery site they captured last year that they couldn't hold onto
October 20, 2025 at 5:25 PM
Scam center hotspot KK Park abandoned
October 20, 2025 at 12:41 AM
Junta troops now 6 miles from Hsipaw
October 14, 2025 at 4:06 PM
Once again AA is definitely and totally in Nat Yae Khan camp. Lol what phrasing by MPA
October 14, 2025 at 3:34 PM
Watch he's gonna then say the junta was so diligent and resolved all the issues he saw and all the parties trust this totally legitimate election

Map updated to 3 October:

Lots of successes for the junta, especially against the TNLA, who are looking at ceasfire after the fall of Kyaukme yesterday.

Junta successful in the southeast too, though AA continues to make some smaller gains. Of course PDF also takes Banmauk! Very exciting

MPA reports fighting near Chauk, Magway region
September 8, 2025 at 5:45 PM
The 19th century Goteik Viaduct rail bridge, once called a wonder of industrial Burma, has been damaged. The Tatmadaw blames the TNLA and locals are blaming the Tatmadaw.
August 24, 2025 at 12:37 PM
AA takes Set Set Yo village in Pathein Township near Lemyethna repelling a junta forward outpost but face battle as reinforcements arrive.
August 8, 2025 at 3:44 AM
resistance forces conducting roadchecks reportedly on the Aungban-Mandalay road in the Danu SAZ according to Ayeyarwaddy Times

Map update for July 2025

The Junta makes counteroffensive gains for the first time in a while taking Thabeikkyin and Nawnghkio. Control still flipping back and forth a bit in the southeast. Though at this scale, it looks less impressive than the SAC now SSPC is boasting about
August 4, 2025 at 1:26 PM
Min Aung Hlaing is ready to milk Trump's recognition of the junta and wiggle his way into legitimacy
July 11, 2025 at 12:32 PM
KNU takes Thukha Gone outpost in Dawei Township, Tanintharyi
July 9, 2025 at 3:02 PM
Well looks like we can add the US to the list with countries like Belarus, Russia and India who recognise the junta
July 7, 2025 at 10:15 PM
Civil warception- CNA has reportedly taken the CNDF HQ as the Chin civil war seems to be back on the table
July 7, 2025 at 12:58 PM
The junta has been inviting the leadership of the PDF to "abide by the law" and join the new elections. Unusually, they have recently attempted to reel back its rhetoric- only calling some PDF members as terrorists.

The NUG has already rejected this borderline peace offer
July 5, 2025 at 7:31 AM
Google Earth also updated the imagery around Sittwe recently and you can see some deep trenches near the front, such as in this screenshot from Tawkangyi village
July 4, 2025 at 2:18 AM
Map updated to July 4 2025: not a lot of changes.
Most of the big news and wins this month aren't really map changes- shooting down jets, bunker schools etc. Otherwise slow progress, stalling from the monsoon and stalemates from junta drone counter-defence.
July 4, 2025 at 2:03 AM
KNU posted this image where they have been reportedly training defectors from the Junta's Aung Zeya column counteroffensive against the KNU on the Asia Highway 1
July 3, 2025 at 12:46 PM
The pilot nor the pilot's body has not been founded at the site
July 3, 2025 at 12:45 PM
PDF captures more junta soldiers in Kyaukkyi Township. Looks like PSG fan grandpas in the junta's elite forces aren't quite so elite
June 26, 2025 at 12:36 PM
India- after recognising the junta, continuing to send weapons to the junta, detaining PDFs an potentially killing them- has their embassy send a cutesy flower gift for Aung San Suu Kyi's birthday
